Nursery and Crabs

Today was my last day teaching these girls in my Nursery class at church. They've all turned 4, so they're going up to the next class.
I've been with them for two years, and I'll miss having them!
Ciarra, Isabella, me and Jena

Sticking our tongues out at the camera!! :-)
I'll miss my girls a lot!:-(
Also, on Saturday Daddy and I stopped by a roadside stand and bought a dozen crabs for dinner. When we got them home, Lydia and I had fun watching them (not really! It was kinda gross, because we saw one pull another ones leg off!!!) until the one climbed out of the paper bag and started running across the floor! We were both screaming until Daddy put it back in. :-)

Well, that's it for now! Until later!

News

This post is going to be the first in a while with no photos. :-)
WOW!!!! It sems like FOREVER since the last time I posted! and it kind of has been...
Just t catch you all up on news:
Last Friday, Oliver had a farming accident and stabbed a pitchfork through his boot and through his second toe. So he was on the mend for about a half a week.
On Monday we took our box truck in to the nearest Ford dealership to have it fixed (there was something wrong with it) and through a series of problems, we now have a box truck that does not run (it ran before it went to the shop). We had it towed to another dealership which was recommended by our car mechanic. So we've been going to market's in Bethesda, Columbia, and Westminster without the box truck. Today Daddy and I had to take Martha's pickup and the van, to replace Daddy's pickup, which my Mom had. So its been kind of crazy around here.
One thing which is REALLY encouraging is that this is the last week of our CSA Session No. 2! Next week, we don't have any coolers to put together, and the week after, Session No. 3 starts: but its not NEARLY as large as the 1st or 2nd sessions. So we'll get a little break with that.
Its hard to believe how fast time has gone by! It seems like it was just July, and now its nearly September. Before long, there will be snow on the ground! :-)
Well, I better go! Until next time!

Water Tanks

Yesterday Lydia, Daddy and I emptied one of our 300 gallon Water tanks.

At the end of this video Daddy gets me wet, so I'm screaming. :-) You may want to turn down the volume on your computers. :-)

In Christ Alone

Here's a video I jsut thought I'd share with you all! Its from the Summer Music Academy that I went to at Pensacola Christian College this summer.
This is the choir (all of the piano players at camp) singing In Christ Alone on Wednesday night at the Crown Centre.
Enjoy!

Swimming

Hello everyone!
Today was a nice day for me. I mostly did chores around the house.
Yesterday Lydia and I went swimming at Fuller Lake, a mountain lake nearby.
We go every Monday and Friday; its so much fun! :-)

The other day I picked some Morning Glory's. When I was little, these were my favorite flowers.

So as you can see, not much exciting happening here! :-) 'Til next time!

Picnic at Oakside Park

Yesterday after Daddy and I got back from the Westminster Farmers Market, we went to a picnic at Oakside Park. Our church was hosting a picnic for all of the bus kids and their parents.
We had a decent turnout, and everyone had a nice time. I managed to snap quite a few pictures too....:-)
Mr. Joe, My dad, Mr. Dale, and Mr. Joe grilling hot dogs.

I was told by one of the kids, that I resemble this guy. So, of course I had to get a picture with him. Jena wanted in it too! :-) She's one of my kids in Nursery.

My Dad was able to share his testimony and just speak to everyone.

Mr. and Mrs. Myers are always AWESOME at coming up with games for the little kids.

Mr. Welty started a game of kickball for the older kids.

Ryan, getting ready to kick. :-)

Mr. Martin was trying to squirt Mariah and I with a water pistol.

It was a fun time, and I think everybody had fun.
That's it for now, 'til next time! :-)

A Rainbow!!!:-)

Today I took Oliver to his Boy Scouts and on the way, it started raining.
Oliver pointed out this rainbow, and he managed to get a few pictures while we were driving.

I pulled the van over and took this one.:-)

Even though seeing a rainbow seems like such a small thing, it was exciting to me, since I havent seen one since I was about eight. Also because they're beautiful reminders of God's promise to us.

Majesty MusiCollege

Well, yesterday night I got back from Majesty MusiCollege in Valley Forge, PA. I went there with a group from my church, and we had a blast!
I completely forgot that I had my camera with me until the second day, which is why all of these pictures are really lame.
This is Mrs. Martin, our chauffeur. :-) I kept on offering to drive, but for some reason she declined......:-)

Me, taking a random picture of myself in the mirror at our hotel.
Gary Emory, making people eat bananas. I was glad he didn't draft me to do that. I was drafted to go on the platform and act out a play with two other people. :-)

Dr. Frank Garlock was celebrating his birthday, so we (everyone at MusiCollege) signed birthday cards for him.

Martha and Daniel at the Pizza shop.

Mitchell, trying to decide what to get.....:-)

Daniel with one of those famous Philly Cheese Steak's.

I managed to get a few pictures of the choir. Since I was in the Teen Choir, I was off to the side of the auditorium.

After every MusiCollege (this is my fourth), I'm always a little sad. I can't wait until next year's! :-)
