Once again, it was loads of fun!!!!;)
Until later....:)

VBS, continuing:)

Well, I had a great time at Bible School yesterday and Monday. I'm splitting the days into separate posts.
After everyone showed up, my Dad asked if anyone in our class LOVED animals. A bunch of the kids raised their hands, and my Dad picked out four kids.
We went outside and my Dad gave each of them ten animal crackers. They were to eat the animal crackers as fast as they could, and then whistle "Dixie."
This is my Dad giving crackers out, and Brandon asking if he can eat some. :)

After the lesson, we played a water balloon game. Laken was my partner.
Here we are, with the balloon which we named George. :)

Oliver and Matthew

Jena and Cassandra

Timmy B. and the preacher

Britney and Mariah. Britney had to lean way down for Mariah, and then they kept having laughing fits....;)

My Dad and Timmy U.

Laken and I

This is our third balloon, which we named Lily. :)

Mrs. Carey was trying to get a picture of US, and BRANDON jumped in the picture!:)

VBS

Wow, it seems like its been forever since I last wrote! Yesterday was our first day of Vacation Bible School, at my church. We had a few major problems.....:)
We found out about two hours before Bible School started that the speakers for the teens, Woody and Alberta Wilson, were not going to be coming. So, my dad had to improvise for the first night, and we were hoping to get a youth pastor from a neighboring church to come in from Monday to Wednesday.
We finally found one who's available. So, we're all pretty relieved about that!
This is Daniel, he's playing the part of Miner Mike. ;)

The theme this year is "Treasure Mine," the decorations looked REALLY nice!

We all knew when the bus pulled in, because all of a sudden, the foyer was PACKED with kids.

The kids outside eating snack. I think after the name tags were all counted, we had 60-some kids from 3-11, and 20 from 12-18.

This is the group I was in. We had strawberry shortcake for our snack. (guess who made that?????) ;)

After our snack, we went and played a game with Mr. Myers.

After getting the hang of the game, we counted up our rocks to see who won. Brandon, (the one my Dad has his arm around) said that the boys had 18 in their bucket. But, he was joking, so that meant we won every game.

That was our first day of Bible School. This is my first year not helping in Bible school, and so far, its pretty fun! I'm sure I'll have more pictures later!
Until tomorrow probably!:)

Hey Everyone,
This is just a post to let you know that I'm not dead, or quitting my blogging! :) I've just been neglecting it.
I wanted to share part of this movie with you! In this movie, Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) is trying hard to impress a dubutante who he likes.
I used to watch this movie when I would go to my grandparents house, and I LOVED it! :)
Enjoy, and have a great week!

watch out for me on the ROAD!!!!:)

GUESS WHAT??????????
haha! I got my DRIVERS LICENSE!!!
YAY!!!!!
I tried for it a month ago, and failed because I drifted through a stop sign. I was so SURE that I was going to fail this one too! I did some stuff that was worthy of failing. But I think the guy was being nice to me....He started telling me everything that I did wrong when we got back to the center, and I was getting discouraged. I thought "there's no way I passed!"
But then he gave me all the stuff and told me to go to the photo area.

So, I am a happy person! ;) yay!

CSA's, and Piano Recitals

WOW! Did we ever have a BUSY day on Wednesday! (I can't REALLY say WE, because I was inside baking most of the time)...:D
Wednesday is our "delivery day": the day when we make CSA deliveries to The National Geographic Society, and the Washington DC Jewish Community Center. In all, that's about 120 shares we had to put together on Wednesday morning. Every time I walked out into the garage, it was so crazy!
Finally, Mommy came inside and told me to turn off the ovens and come outside and help.
I took a few pictures of the stuff we were giving the CSA's.
The Rhubarb and Asparagus,
And these mountains of Shallots, Spring onions, and radishes. There was other stuff too, but I didn't get pictures of it.
My dad was supposed to leave at 12 in order deliver the CSA's by 2:30. Well, we finished up RIGHT at 12, so that was good!
Next week, we're probably going to start earlier. :)
On Tuesday, Me, Oliver and Lydia, played piano and sang in Mommy and Katie's Piano recital. Since Mommy and Katie both have piano students, they merge for they're recitals. I was supposed to have two songs memorized....haha. I had one half memorized and the other, not at all. But I got through it. :)
I was just taking random pictures of myself in my formal. This is actually the same dress I wore to Stuarts wedding. We kind of had a last-minute dress problem. :) It was about ten minutes before we left, and Lydia realized that the only dress she had was too small. At the same time, I realized that I couldn't wear my black one because it has bone in the top and sleeves. I can't play violin with bone poking me the whole time. So, I went with my red one, which turned out to be a mistake because four of the six hooks and eyes in the back had fallen off!!!! Mommy managed to pin it together....:) and I had Lydia try on my Bridesmaid dress from Katie's wedding. So she wore that.
haha, I think its time for me to get a new formal. :)

This is Oliver playing the piano. I didn't manage to get any pictures of me while I was playing.

And THAT kept us busy for Tuesday and Wednesday! :)

Solar Panels

WOW! It's been a LONG time since I last posted!
Tons of stuff has been going on and I've been keeping very busy, so I'm going to split this into three different posts.
On Tuesday, the solar panel crew finished their work. They just need to do the wiring now, and we'll have 33 running solar panels! So we're excited about that!

While I was in the back taking pictures of the panels, I noticed that our peaches are on the trees already! Time FLY'S!!!!! Soon, we'll need to start thinning the trees.
