Asparagus...makes me happy

There's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a huge pile of asparagus that you just picked, weighed and bundled.  It's hard to explain, but after this crop, I felt like a proud parent.

I don't really have much to blog about, but I always enjoy seeing farm pictures.  :D

Farm Life again

WOW, these past few days have been scorching!  I suppose that it wasnt really HOT, but the humidity really fooled me.  In California, the humidity is miniscule, if it's there at all. 

Anyway, we've had some lovely rain showers lately which is really good for the crops. 

I just thought I'd post this short blurb to let everyone know I'm still alive here, just very busy.

My last day in CA

Rebekah insisted on curling my hair for the concert on tuesday.  So here we are, ready to sing!

Wednesday morning before graduation, my room had our last room date together.  The vote was three to one for Starbucks so we went to Starbucks.  Of course, I was the one for McDonalds instead.  haha!

Right before I left, I was able to say goodbye to my "brothers" and we got a picture together.  I'll miss them. 



Goodbyes

Well last week I said goodbye to some of my best friends for the summer. 

My Handbell choir had one last celebration at Bex's before we all left for the summer.

Then of course a group picture!  :)  I'll miss everyone a lot this summer and look forward to seeing them all in the fall.  But I'm excited to be home!

Spring Orchestra Concert

The Spring Orchestra concert was last week and I'm just finally putting up pictures from it!  :)

The man I sit next to in orchestra has a second violin and he let me borrow it for the concert...

Anyway, it was fun, as usual!  :) 

So finals are completely DONE and I've officially passed all of my classes. 

There are only 4 days left until I am home...
