Oh my! Yesterday My mom and I had quite the time of our lives in the kitchen! I was making Swedish Meatballs, and my Mom was preparing Horseradish to give to our DCJCC(DC Jewish Community Center) CSA on Wednesday.
This is the horseradish after it was processed.

My mom had to take four crying breaks, and I was just crying the whole time! even this morning, after getting a nice sleep, my eyes are irritated.
So, just as a warning, if you find your craving horseradish, go buy it from the store! :-)
We have never tried preparing Horseradish, although Mother would like to. We just got a couple plants from my great aunt this year, so now she can try it... :)
